Respite Retreat Rainbow Bay August 2020

A 5 day respite retreat for the partners of incapacitated veterans. Thus retreat will be very different, due to Covid 19 we have been restricted in what therapies we can bring into the resort. There will be a much stronger focus on crafts and hobbies, a great opportunity to learn something new. If you sew bring your machine, if you knit bring your needles. If you want to share your skills and teach others let us know. We will have various projects to participate in. During the retreat you will have plenty of time for  relaxation, hopefully to assist you cope with life caring for an ill or injured loved one.  Lots of fun and an opportunity to meet with others caring for an incapacitated vetertan. Build your support network. Open Arms will be running a 1/2 day workshop on dealing with someone elses anger.  Other fun activities are being organised however we are restricted due to COVID 19 .   Some crafts may incur a small fee towards material costs. 

All suites are equiped with a kitchen and as such most of this retreat is self catered.  We will get together for joint meals that we prepare as a group.    The program will be released and emailed to you prior to the event.
