Supported by QLD RSL, A 6 day get away with others who understand the life of a carer, caring for an incapacitated veteran . Costs vary and are based on many factors. Financial assistance may be possible. . A non refundable ( unless border closures ) deposit of $50 shared and $100 Single.

About the event
6 days respite retreat for the partners of incapacitated veterans or widows of veterans. Participants can check in from 12pm Saturday 12th February.
Do you need a break, a getaway and some fresh sea air? Come and join other partners of veterans for some much deserved time out. Throughout the week we will have various craft activities, games, information sharing, and lots of respite.
During the retreat you will have plenty of time for relaxation, hopefully enough to reset and recharge you to tackle everyday life. Lots of fun and an opportunity to meet with other like minded women. Build your support network. Other fun activities are being organised however we may still restricted due to COVID-19 . Some activities may incur a small co- payment towards costs.
All suites are equipped with a kitchen and as such most of this retreat is self-catered. ( woolworths or coles delivery can be arranged if necessary) We may get together for joint meals that we prepare as a group. The program will be added to and adjusted as we iron out the finer details. Please note at this stage we cannot confirm any agenda. THIS RETREAT IS LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS . Further information contact Donna on 0430166070. NOTE: That that hove not attended a retreat in 2021 will be gven first chance at rooms. It is your responsibility to find someone to share with if you do not want a single room. Cancellations within 14 days of the retreat that are not Covid related will be required to pay the full cost of the invoice, the booking can be transferred to anothere eligible person.
